Duties

a) In accordance with the agreement undersigned under between the former Yugoslav Federative People's Republic and Republic of Turkey Pursuant to the  Act No. 1135, to make advance compensation payment process,

b) In accordance with the agreement entered into between Federative People's Republic of Romania and Republic of Turkey pursuant to the Law No. 1987, to carry out the necessary procedures related to this agreement,

c) To provide the defensive information and documents to be produced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to express the opinion of our Ministry (General Directorate), based on the opinion of our Government regarding the applications made to the European Court of Human Rights by persons demanding compensation on the grounds that the right of property has been violated,

ç) To liquidate the properties of those whose citizenship has been revoked pursuant to the Turkish Citizenship Law No.5901,

d) To form an opinion on the properties of foreigners and minorities in relation to the duties of the General Directorate,

e) To carry out the procedures regarding real estate agreements with foreign countries,

f) To carry out the procedures related to the acquisition of immovable by community foundations,

g) To carry out the liquidation procedures to be carried out by the Treasury in accordance with the articles of the Land Registry Law No. 2644 regarding the acquisition of real estate by foreigners,

ğ) To carry out the procedures regarding the management of immovables belonging to Syrian nationals,

h) To conduct the producedures on Turkish nationals of goods other than Turkey,

ı) To carry out the property search procedures requested by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for persons who request Turkish citizenship,
